This compact OTG adapter bridges USB-C hosts with Micro USB peripherals, giving you flexible access to older devices from modern hardware. It combines a USB-C male plug on one end with a Micro USB female port on the other, enabling OTG-enabled devices to work with Micro USB accessories when the host supports OTG. Key uses and benefits - USB-C to Micro USB: convert a USB-C device into a Micro USB peripheral host hookup, expanding compatibility for older accessories. - OTG-ready: designed for devices that support USB On-The-Go, so you can connect Micro USB peripherals to your USB-C device when OTG is available. - Portable and simple: a slim, pocket-friendly adapter that travels easily without adding bulk to your setup. - Practical on modern and legacy devices: compatible with USB-C phones, tablets, and laptops such as MacBook models and Samsung S20 family, as long as the host device supports OTG. - Versatile connections: suitable for Micro USB peripherals like cables, adapters, or compatible accessories that rely on a Micro USB interface. What you can do - Connect Micro USB peripherals to a USB-C host for data transfer or accessory use, when OTG is supported by the device. - Use with USB-C laptops or phones to access Micro USB devices without needing multiple adapters or adapters with crowded cable setups. - Extend compatibility for older Micro USB accessories, keeping them usable with newer USB-C hardware. How to use - Ensure your USB-C device supports OTG. - Insert the USB-C male end into a USB-C port on your host (e.g., MacBook or Samsung S20). - Plug your Micro USB accessory into the Micro USB female port of the adapter (via the accessory’s Micro USB cable if needed). - Access the Micro USB device through your USB-C host as you normally would. Notes - OTG availability depends on your host device; check that your MacBook or Samsung S20 model supports OTG for the adapter to function. - Data transfer speeds and compatibility vary with the Micro USB device and the host’s capabilities.
