Important regional notes and setup requirements

This model is originally a US plug, and you can select the plug appropriate for your region when placing an order; an adapter will be provided. The device interface is in Chinese. To connect via the Mi Home app, you must switch the app region to Chinese Mainland before proceeding with setup.

1. Download the Mi Home app first. After installing, go to Profile > Additional settings.
2. In Language & region, set Region to Chinese Mainland.
3. Connect the power: insert the power adapter into the camera’s power port and power on. The indicator light will be solid yellow, and you will hear a voice prompt indicating startup success.
4. In the Mi Home app, tap the "+" in the upper-right corner, then tap "Scan" to add the device.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset or pair the device as prompted by the app. If needed, select Device Reset.
6. Select Wi‑Fi and tap "Next," then complete the remaining prompts to establish the connection.
7. Note: The app server can only be Mainland China. Ensure a smooth network connection during setup; when powered on with a yellow indicator, you’re on track. After a successful connection, the indicator will turn blue.

Seamless Mi Home integration and practical use

The camera is designed to be controlled through the Mi Home app, enabling you to manage this device alongside other Mi products. To get started, scan the QR code to download Mi Home, or search for "Mi Home" in the app store. If you already have the Mi Home app installed, you can directly access the device connection page by tapping the "+" and following the prompts to add the camera.
