Designed for the A1 and A1 MINI 3D printers, the Toaiot Bmcu 370C AMS lite BMCU370C Auto Refill Farm delivers automated material management for multi‑material printing with the AMS MMU. This AMS lite module is engineered to streamline filament handling and refills, helping you tackle complex prints with fewer interruptions.

Notes on Connecting to a BMCU

  • Both ends of the 4P cable feature an anti‑reverse design. Ensure the connectors are oriented correctly to prevent damage from reverse insertion.
  • Hot plugging is strictly prohibited: Always power off the printer when connecting or disconnecting.

Gear and Drive Details

  • For the gear: 182a is a direct drive version, and the gears will wear out faster.
  • We are shipping a high torque version, not a direct drive version. The gear has been upgraded for improved torque and durability.

Important Printing and Safety Guidance

  • Before each printing, ensure the option of long retraction when cutting filament is turned off, otherwise the filament hub or BMCU may be damaged.
  • Warning: Before you turn off the printer, make sure that no filament is loaded into the tool head. Otherwise, when you load or unload filament again when you turn on the printer next time, the error warning “Failed to check the filament location” may appear.

What to Do If You Encounter the Filament Location Error

If this situation occurs, follow these steps to recover:

  1. Unplug the PTFE tube of the corresponding channel from the connector of the BMCU.
  2. Manually press the cutter lever on the tool head to cut the filament.
  3. Press the lever on the left of the tool head to release the filament.
  4. Pull the filament back from the BMCU.
  5. Insert the tube back into the BMCU.

This product is tailored for seamless integration with A1/A1 MINI printers and AMS MMU workflows, emphasizing safe operation, gear reliability, and practical guidance to keep multi‑material printing smooth and uninterrupted.
